Nail Extensions in London — Gel-X, Sculpted and Acrygel
If you want length your natural nails will not give you, extensions are the answer — but which system you choose changes the weight, the strength and how long the appointment takes. We offer three at both London salons, and the right one depends on the length and shape you are after.
The three extension systems
Gel-X extensions
A soft gel tip bonded to the full nail plate. Lightweight, quick to apply and the most natural-feeling of the three. Best for short to medium lengths. New set £85.
Sculpted extensions
Built on a form under the natural nail, with no tip involved, so the shape is created entirely by the artist. This is the option for a precise almond, a square with real corners, or anything longer than medium. New set £99, or £115 for 2.5cm and over.
Acrygel extensions
A hybrid of acrylic strength and gel workability. The strongest of the three and the system to choose for serious length. New set £99, £115 long, and £150 for a full set of claws.

Infills and upkeep
Sculpted and acrygel sets are maintained with infills every four to five weeks rather than being replaced. Gel-X sets are usually removed and reapplied. Nail art can be added to any set from £15.
Do you need extensions, or just BIAB?
If you want length, book extensions. If your nails would grow perfectly well if they stopped breaking, book BIAB instead — it is cheaper, lighter and lets your own nails do the work.

Nail extension FAQs
How long does a new set take?
Allow two to three hours for a first set, longer with detailed nail art.
Which extensions are least damaging?
None of them damage the nail when removed correctly. Damage comes from prying sets off or over-filing, which is why removal should be booked rather than done at home.
Can you remove extensions applied elsewhere?
Yes. Removal only is £40, or £23 when booked with another treatment on the same visit.
How long can you go?
As long as you want, within reason — our claw sets are the longest we build, at £150.
